With the Premier League drawing to a close this past Sunday,what will immediately catch the eyes of domestic fans at the impending start of the Summer transfer window. 

There isn’t as big of a football social media moment when journalist Fabrizio Romano tweets ‘Here We Go’  before confirming the signing of a player to another club. The latest edition of 888sports’ ‘The Eye Test’, attempted to tackle a game of ‘One In, One Out’ of players signing and leaving some of the Premier League’s top clubs. 

Manchester City fan Steve McInerney highlighted the club’s imminent signing of striker Erling Haaland as the player who should be making his way to the Etihad Stadium, whilst conversely, feeling dejected that Gabriel Jesus may have to make way for the incoming Norwegian. 

Flex, a Manchester United fan, did not know where to start on who he believed the club should offload. A lot of consideration of new manager Erik ten Hag was highlighted on which current United players would best suit the Dutchman’s footballing philosophy, with names like Aaron Wan-Bissaka and David De Gea mentioned who may not suit his style. 

Host and Chelsea fan Rory Jennings was vehement on who he would like to see leave Stamford Bridge this Summer; Romelu Lukaku. The ongoing sale of the club has raised question marks about the London club’s activity this upcoming transfer window, yet Jennings believes that if players can be brought in, then Declan Rice is at the top of that list. 

The panel also discussed Liverpool and if a surprise were to spring up in the form of Mohamed Salah, who is yet to sign a new contract at Anfield, with his current deal running out next Summer. The panel also mentioned the rumoured links to young French central midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni, and if his arrival could spell the end for captain Jordan Henderson.
